One Day Summer Creative Retreat

What you can expect… 

Learn how to hand make a paper journal, learn stamping techniques, collage and embellishment with foraged and recycled materials. 

• A chance to gather with like-minded folk 

• A chance to have some me time 

• A vegan lunch and snacks are provided 

During this session, I will demonstrate simple book binding techniques, how to make your own stamps, block printing techniques, paper crafting ideas, how to gather inspiration and ideas for journalling prompts and making it a part of your life.

You will go home with more confidence and hopefully full of inspiration to go on to create more journals for yourself and for beautiful handmade gifts. 

When 

• Early Bird tickets are £75.00 – Early bird tickets are available until 11pm on FRIDAY 24th MAY.

• Full price tickets are £85.00 

Where 

The beautiful village of Downe in Kent. There will be chance after the workshop to go for a mindful walk-in nature along The Sandwalk, Charles Darwin's 'thinking path', a quarter-mile walk that formed the basis of his daily perambulations around the estate. To refresh us and give you some time to digest all those creative ideas. Charles Darwin's House and Gardens is open until 6pm so there’s plenty of time to include this in your day if you wish.  Entrance to the Museum is £12.70 or free if you have English Heritage Membership.

This is a small intimate workshop, as my cottage is very small with just 6 spaces available.
