Day Four
DAY FOUR
infinitely greater wisdom
Today’s piece came together from the quietest materials — fallen oak leaves, fragments of stitch, and the suggestion of a figure held within absence.
There is a tenderness to what remains: the things that endure long after the season has turned. The oak, in all its weathering, becomes a symbol of resilience. The figure sits in stillness, heart resting beneath a single leaf, listening for what the mind can’t yet speak.
The words infinitely greater wisdom appeared almost by accident, but felt true.
Not the wisdom we go searching for — the wisdom that rises when we finally stop.
A reminder that deeper knowing often waits beneath the surface, patient and steady, until we are quiet enough to hear it.
The work measures approx 6" x 5" and is mounted on 10"x 8" heavy warm white artist paper signed on front.
This work would fit a 10"x 8" frame.
