The oak leaf has fallen and here it stands preserved — a quiet relic of the year. She walks slowly, her back to her maiden years, not yet meeting the crone she will become. Held between who she has been and who she is becoming, she moves through the tender space where endings gather softly into beginnings.
 
The work is on vintage Somerset paper with a backing of heavy warm white artist paper signed on front.
