the tide brings
 
A pressed fern, a dried bloom, threads of gauze and torn paper ~ arranged like the offerings washed in by the sea. The muted palette, the soft horizon, and the moon controls the tides that carry the stories to the shore.
 
This piece spoke to the quiet gifts that arrive when we’re not forcing anything ~ what the tide brings when we learn to let things come in their own rhythm.
 
The work is on vintage Somerset paper with a backing of heavy warm white artist paper signed on front.
