FAQ

What if I can’t attend after I’ve booked?

The £111 deposit is non-refundable, as it holds your place for this intimate, limited-space retreat. If you need to cancel, I’ll do my best to help you transfer your spot to someone on the waitlist. The remaining balance will have flexible payment options, and I’m here to support you with any changes needed along the way.

When is the rest of the payment due?

You’ll receive a follow-up email after paying your deposit with full details and the option to choose a payment plan. The balance will be due in either 2 or 3 instalments between now and early 2026.

Where do I stay?

Retreat participants stay off-site, and there are plenty of lovely places to stay nearby—from charming B&Bs to coastal cottages and affordable guesthouses, some within walking distance, some a short drive away. I’ll send you a curated list of local options once your place is confirmed.

Is this for beginners or experienced artists?

This retreat is open to all levels. Whether you’re returning to your creativity after time away, deepening an existing practice, or simply seeking inspiration and space, you are welcome. The sessions will be gentle, spacious, and intuitive—with no pressure to “perform” or produce. Just room to explore, play, and reconnect.

What if I’ve never been on a retreat before?

Perfect. This is a beautiful place to begin. The retreat is small, welcoming, and designed with care. You’ll be gently guided throughout, and supported both in the creative process and the rhythm of the days. It’s not about being “good at art”—it’s about listening inward and letting your creativity speak.

I’m a bit introverted / sensitive—will I have space?

Yes. I completely understand. This retreat is intentionally slow-paced, with room for solitude, quiet, and personal reflection as well as connection. You’ll have time to breathe, rest, and follow your own rhythm.

What kind of food will be provided?

You’ll be served two shared seasonal meals during the retreat—crafted with love using fresh, nourishing ingredients. I’ll check in with you about dietary requirements or allergies well in advance, and will do my best to accommodate all needs. You’ll also have space to bring your own snacks or meals for other days, and there are lovely cafés and shops nearby.

Is the retreat space accessible?

The studio is a ground-floor space with step-free access from the garden, but please be aware that the surrounding area includes countryside paths and uneven terrain (especially for the walk). Suffolk is very flat, so there are no hills.  If you have specific access needs or concerns, just get in touch.

What should I bring?

Once your place is confirmed, you’ll receive a welcome guide with a packing list. All essential materials are provided as part of your retreat kit, but you’re welcome to bring your favourite tools, a journal, or any natural items or imagery you’d love to work with. Most importantly, bring your curiosity and an open heart.

Connect with the moon cycle in my studio stories.  If you are passionate about art, nature, and living a life that is true to their heart...this is for you.
