Website Audits for Creatives

A Spring Clean for Your Digital Home
Your website is your home on the internet.
A place where collectors, collaborators, and curious visitors can step into your creative world.
But over time websites can become cluttered, outdated, or quietly neglected — especially when your focus is where it should be: in the studio, making the work itself.
A Website Audit offers a calm, thoughtful way to step back and see your site with fresh eyes.
Together we’ll look at what’s working, what might need attention, and how your website can better reflect the work you are creating now.
A quiet reset for your digital home.

THE PROBLEM WE CAN FACE
Does your website still reflect the work you are making now?
Many creatives I speak to feel the same things:
• Their website once felt exciting but now feels slightly outdated
• Pages no longer reflect their current work or direction
• Blog posts are sitting unfinished in drafts
• Visitors arrive but it’s not always clear where they should go next
• The site doesn’t appear in search results when people look for their work
The result?
A digital home that doesn’t quite hold the fullness of your creative life anymore. The good news is that in most cases you don’t need a completely new website. You simply need to see what you already have with fresh perspective.
WHAT HAPPENS IN A WEBSITE AUDIT
A Website Audit is a gentle but thorough review of your website.
Rather than rebuilding everything from scratch, we look carefully at what already exists and identify the small shifts that can make a big difference.
During the audit I review:
• the clarity of your work and message
• how visitors move through your website
• whether your pages support your creative goals
• how your blog or journal content is working (or could be working harder for you)
• the overall structure and user experience of your site
You will receive clear, thoughtful feedback and practical suggestions that you can implement at your own pace.

HELPING YOUR WORK BE DISCOVERED
One of the most overlooked parts of an artist’s website is SEO — Search Engine Optimisation. Put simply, SEO helps your work be discovered by the people already searching for it.
Many artists rely heavily on social media for visibility, but platforms change constantly and posts disappear quickly. Your website, however, is something you own and control.
During the audit I will also review the foundations of your website’s SEO, including:
• page titles and descriptions
• blog structure and discoverability
• image naming and alt text
• keywords related to your work and practice
• how search engines currently see your site
These are often small adjustments that can significantly improve how easily people find your work online.
WHO THIS IS FOR
This audit is ideal for creatives who…
• already have a website but feel unsure if it’s working as well as it could
• have evolved in their work and want their site to reflect that
• want their website to support exhibitions, sales, or commissions
• have blog posts or studio journals they’d like to use more effectively
• want to improve the visibility of their work through search engines
You do not need to be highly technical.
The goal is simply to help your website become a clear and welcoming home for your creative work.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE
The audit includes:
A full review of your website structure and navigation
Reflections on how your work and story are communicated
Suggestions for strengthening clarity, flow and visitor experience
Thoughts on visibility and basic SEO opportunities to help people find your work
Ideas for how your blog or studio journal could become the heart of the site
A written document with reflections and practical recommendations
WALKING THROUGH THE AUDIT
Once the review is complete, you can choose how you would like to receive the feedback.
You may prefer:
A 45-minute live call where we talk through the audit together and explore the possibilities for the next stage of your website
or
A recorded video walkthrough where I guide you through the audit and share my observations and suggestions, which you can watch in your own time.
INVESTMENT
Website Audit + Walkthrough — £295
Many artists find the audit becomes a helpful starting point before making deeper changes to their website or refining their creative direction.
Others simply use it as a way to bring fresh perspective to the digital home they already have.
Either way, the intention is the same — to help your website feel like a place that truly reflects your work and invites people into your world.
ABOUT ME
I’m an artist, designer and mentor.
Alongside my own art practice I’ve spent many years helping artists and creatives shape how their work is presented online — from portfolio reviews and brand aesthetics to website structure and storytelling.
My approach is both creative and practical.
I understand the desire artists and creatives have to spend more time making work, while also needing their websites to clearly communicate what they do.
A Website Audit is simply an extension of that work — helping artists bring clarity, balance, and intention back into their digital homes.
